QualDes was formed in 1994 to combine Dessirae's experience in Quality and Design within the Food Industry.

We aim to achieve customer satisfaction through professional and quality service and  ensure our customers achieve their goals in a timely and efficient manner.

Dessirae Luther-Sproule (Director)

Dessirae founded the business over 15 years ago and has developed a business based on both Quality and New Product Development expertise.

Her trade mark is a hands on approach which has made her a specialist in trouble shooting whether its a formulation or food safety issue. She is a 'just get on with it' person and this attitiude is reflected across the business ensuring that your deadline is our priority.

Dessirae's corporate background includes such companies as Cerebos and Goodman Fielder giving her expertise in a wide range of sauces, dry mix, mayonnaise, pasta, spreads and cereals

Dessirae is a registered Food Safety auditor

 

Wendy McQueen 

Excellent ability to develop strategic plans based on corporate mission and vision, and to implement and deliver desired outcomes from these plans.  Inclusive and consultative management style, with strong team development skills and experience. 

Solid leadership and culture change experience.  Strong analytical skills with well developed ability to analyse issues and develop commercially astute recommendations based on risk, science, experience, legal requirements and liabilities, and customer requirements. 

 

Grethe Lock 

Senior food technologist with a broad understanding of product development, food safety systems and food legislation. 

Grethe's experience is in driving your products from concept to launch. She has hands-on experience with the entire process of product development including lab work and flavour development, pilot plant, scale up to production and launch to trade. 

Grethe combines her product development knowledge with experience in implementation of HACCP based food safety and quality systems to ensure safe product to market. Her experience has involved working with the major retailers such as Coles and Aldi, ensuring a good working relationship between supplier and customer.
